Introduction
The Association was formed in 1928 and has had a long and
successful history.
The main aim is to promote table tennis in and around the
Gloucester area.
The Association comprises:
15 officers and committee members
15 clubs
40 teams split into 5 divisions of 8
230 players.
Runs: league matches from begining of September to the following
late March; an handicap knock-out tournament played during
same period; a closed tournament for senior and junior players
in mid March; and an the Gloucester open Classic Hard-Bat
tournament in mid June
Holds an annual social & presentation evening in mid April
Has senior and junior representative teams in the Midland
Table Tennis League and a team in the National Cadet League.
Welcomes new players of any age, sex, background, ability
or handicap.
