Cirencester 1 Star Table Tennis Tournament
Several Gloucestershire youngsters travelled to Cirencester over
the week end to compete in the Cirencester 1 Star Table Tennis Tournament.
Star of the week end, was Nick Walker, who plays for Optimists
in the Gloucester league played the best Table Tennis of his career
so far and took home the winners trophy in the Under 15’s
Consolation competition.
This is a fantastic achievement for Walker who was competing in
his first ever National level tournament. Mike Kiff Walker’s
coach said, “Nick has played the best I’ve ever seen
him play today and deserves the winners’ trophy”.
Also competing from the county were Simon Parkinson, Callum Meadow,
Harvey Walsingham and Matt Inman all from Gloucester who all played
very well and enjoyed the competition. From Cheltenham Emma Mollison
came 4th in the under 18 girl’s competition.
