The Gloucester Closed Senior Championships were held on Sunday, 7th March 2010 and despite a couple of withdrawals there was still an impressive 44 participants that lined up on the day for the main event the open singles. On a busy day, in a very friendly atmosphere, there were a total of 162 matches played. Five finals were decided and congratulations goes to the following;

Division 2 Singles Winner – Paul Singh

Division 3 Singles Winner – Richard Johnson

Division 4 Singles Winner – Hamza Bham

Division 5 Singles Winner – Adam Crabbe

Intermediate Doubles Winners – Ahmed Bham & Suleiman Salehbnai

Due to the day slightly over running there are still seven finals to be decided, two more than originally planned. The line ups for the seven finals are as follows;

Christine Williams/Darren Griffin  v  Ann Barnes/Jason Million

Minor – Doubles
George Evans/Ben Roberts  v  Matt Inman/Nick Walker

These matches are currently scheduled for Finals Night on Saturday, 17th April 2010, however this has yet to be confirmed by the committee, so watch this space.
