Sir Thomas Rich's School B v Robinswood

The Robinswood team had a start of 70 points and in the early stages it seemed the handicap was too high as the School team clawed back only 5 points over the first 2 matches, each player winning 2 games apiece.

Abdu Afifi for the School gained 10 points on Graham Warman only dropping one game and then Ed Watson won all his 4 games against a valiant Andy Noakes gaining another 12 points.

Mark Wilding for Robinswood then brought the points back up to 59 ahead, beating Abdu in 3 of the 4 games.

Elliot King came back into the fray winning all his games against Graham and gaining 17 points in the process.

Abdu beat Andy in 3 of his games bringing the total down to 30 ahead, then Ed won his 4 games against Graham in a well fought match to bring the score down to 4.

It was left to Mark and Elliot to finish the match. Elliot won the first and third game, and in the final game he still had 4 points to make up. At 10 - 6 it was still viable but with his team mates cheering him on, Mark managed to get 9 points to end a great evening of table tennis and a final score of 352 to Robinswood and 350 to Sir Thomas Rich’s School.
