On Saturday 12 September a team of Gloucester Juniors travelled to Christ College Cheltenham to take part in a Gloucestershire Round Robin tournament with three other teams from Cheltenham, Cirencester and Stroud.
Team Coach for the day was Dave Gough and his team of Nick Walker, George Evans and Ben Roberts performed admirably. The team came through a close encounter with Stroud in their first match and convincingly beat Cirencester in their final match but were beaten by a strong Cheltenham side in their second match. Honourable mention goes to George Evans who only lost one match during the tournament helping Gloucester to finish second on the day itself. The teams will meet a further three times during the season at each others venues with overall points being accumulated and this will decide the final placing.
