The last league results for the season 2007 - 2008-04-07

Division 1
Rudford A demolished their club mates in a very one-sided match. Keith Foord was the only player able to score for the B-side. Maximum points for Simon Moysey and Ann Barnes and two wins for Lee Bruton who was playing up.

Highnam overpowered the Forest side despite the best efforts of Ernie Pemberton who put up a valiant performance. Pemberton won one game for the home side, however with maximum points from Dave Gough and Jason Million and two wins for Bob Trimble the last match of the season was not good for the Forest side.
Forest products 1 v Highnam A 9

Division 2
Debenhams overcame Rudford, but only as a result of Singh and Singh being victorious in the doubles. Paul Singh put in maximum effort and gained maximum result for the home side whilst Paul Singh chalked up two wins for the away side. For Rudford Stewart Jones won two games and Kim Self won one.

Optimists’ players had to go the extra mile in their match against Rudford, as they were a player short. Both Steven Greening and Darryl Wiltshire were up for this challenge and won two and three games respectively and the doubles to earn a great win. For Rudford Trevor Oliver won one game.

Division 4

Dominic James continued with his winning ways with three wins for his team, whilst Mike Brook and William Lee won two and one game respectively. For Redcliffe Vidas Rimkus won two and David Ingleby won one.
Sir Thomas Richs B 7 v Redcliffe College B 3

The British Energy side took advantage of an under strength Optimists team. Maximum wins for Matthew Sproston and Dave Eaton. For Optimists Stewart Blencowe won one
Optimists D 1 v British Energy D 9

Janie Kirby was in fine form and won all three games for Sir Thomas Richs, so too was Ian Kellie and Tony Saxton who won three and two games respectively. Perhaps some of the play was down to some positive luck that was brought by a cat, which ran into the gym and halted play. For Crypt Luke McFarland won one game.

Redcliffe were just able to overcome Crypt however they waited until the doubles to seal the match. There were three and two wins for Vidas Rimkus and David Ingleby respectively for the home side, whilst Luke McFarland won two games and there was one win each for Eddie McFarland and Steve Parsons.
Redcliffe College B 6 v Crypt A 4

Division 5
Despite the best efforts of Elliot King, who won all three games, Sir Thomas Richs where going to struggle to manage a win when they were only able to field two players.
Robinswood Church C 6 v Sir Thomas Richs D 4

Mark Wilding was the player of the night winning all three of his games, which assisted Robinswood to a good win. Also for Robinswood, Jamie Lavender and Adam Mansfield won two and one game respectively. For Sir Thomas Richs, Rob Murtagh won two and Ed Lyons won one.
Robinswood Church A 7 v Sir Thomas Richs C 3

In the battle of the Robinswood teams all ended square at the end of the night. Mark Wilding and Adam Mansfield won three and two games respectively for the A side whilst for the B side Two wins for Pablo Williams and one win each for Graham Warman and Jamie Lavender.
Robinswood Church B 5 v Robinswood Church A 5

Shirley Bailey and Alan Munday put in a very strong performance against St James and won all three games. The pair then combined their efforts to win the doubles. For the home side there was one win each for Trevor Henry, Graham Ponter and Paul Johnson.
St James a 3 v Crypt B 7

Rob Murtagh was the star of the night for Sir Thomas Richs winning all three of his games. Matt Wright and Liam Foylan also contributed to the home sides total with one win each. For Robinswood Tim Clark won two and Pete Hewlett and Christine Clark won one each.
