Division 1
Forest Products 6 v Rudford ‘A’ 4
Despite a close contest with opponent Ken Smith in his first match, Forest Products’ Don Sweeney had a successful evening winning all three of his matches. Rudford’s Simon Moysey also came through a close match with Jon Gaskell, winning 15 – 13 in the fifth, to provide two wins for the visitors along with a further win each from Paul Smyth and Ken Smith. Jon Gaskell and Rob Freeman with one win apiece on the night, then combined to win the doubles convincingly and ensure overall victory also went to the home team.
Division 2
British Energy ‘A’ 4 v Rudford ‘D’ 6
Three wins for Rudford’s Stewart Jones, aligned with two more from Chris Beard and one from Kim Selfe ensured the night belonged to the away team. This despite George Evans winning two matches for the home team and even though Dave Moore provided another point and then paired up with Dave McIntosh to win the doubles.
Division 4
Robinswood Church 4 v Sir Thomas Rich’s ‘B’ 6
Leading the way in division four this season is Elliot King and once again he proved to be the deciding factor in this fixture against Robinswood Church as he won all of his matches. Two further wins from Ed Watson and one from Abdu Affifi gave Sir Thomas Rich’s victory on the night. Valuable points for the home team came with two wins from Pablo Williams and one from Mark Wilding, along with a further win in the doubles.

Civil Service ‘D’ 8 v Crypt ‘A’ 2
Three wins apiece from Hamza Bham and Martin Brown, who also proceeded to pair up and win the doubles, along with a further win from Kevin Burden gave the home team a comfortable victory on the night. For the visitors, Luke McFarland and Michael McFarlane both came away with hard fought five game victories to secure what could prove to be valuable consolation points for Crypt ‘A’.
Robinswood Church 7 v St. James Church 3
First win of the season for Robinswood as Mark Wilding, Pablo Williams and Andy Noakes all chipped in with two wins apiece for the home team who were also victorious in the doubles. Alan Page once again stood resolute for St James winning all of his matches but ultimately in vain as the night belonged to Robinswood.
Sir Thomas Rich’s ‘B’ 5 v St. James Church 5
A moral victory for St James Church who managed to avoid defeat for the first time this season despite two wins apiece Sir Thomas Rich’s Ed Watson and Abdu Affifi and a further win for Will Lee. Sir Thomas Rich’s entered the doubles with only a marginal one point lead as Alan Page had won all of his matches for St James for whom a further win was provided by Trevor Henry - his first win of the season. Alan Page then combined with Ibrahim Bham to win the doubles and secure a draw for St James on the night.
